Gooday Mr and Mrs. Lowe, I read through a post that you are new comers to RAOK and I would just like to confirm that
yes they are the greatest people I have yet to meet on the net....They are always there in a flash when you need them, no
questions asked, very supportive of everyone and so very kind...Glad to see that you have joined...As for me I have been a
member for sometime but afraid that I haven't been doing my share of work, though I do daily RAOK's, but just feel as
though it isn't enough....I would so much like to learn how to make gifs of my own instead of stealing them from the gift
shop....but for now I guess it will do...I have not visited all of your site, but must say that I had to read your article
on "Prednisone"....How true....People MUST be informed in someway....I have been taking prednisone for over 20 years and
the side effects have nearly cost me my life, well they have in a way...since then I have had 2 total hip replacements at
the age of 25 and 27,, 5 yrs after starting t Luv Bluu |

| i was diagnosed with asthma at age 68 4yrs after moving into amobile home.for the past 2 years
i have gone pretty well thru every medication and the problem has gotten worse insted of better, maybe it was not too much
help to me to read of your experiende but it was a big help to hear of someone oelse who came down with so called adult
onset athsma. I probably die before I find a solution to my roblem but, please keep up with your column to encourage and
inform others. Thamk you. |

| What a wonderful, down to earth site, re: asthma. Being a nurse, I know how an asthmatic or a
chronic COPDer suffer before getting the breathing under control. I work with the elderly and sometimes the confusion adds

| I suffer from attacks of Bronchial Asthma BUT nothing nearly as severe as your's :( It usually
hits when I've gotten a bad cold. I pray that one day they can find a cure for this, there is nothing scarier than not

I sympathize with your trouble with breathing!
I know what it feels like to have trouble
although I don't suffer from asthma, I have a lung disorder
and it sure has given me stressful moments!

| You have my every sypmathy in your fight with this disease. We too have had to learn to live
with asthma - two of my three children are asthmatic, in their case they are both allergic to common allergens such as
pollen, dust, mould spores etc. but they are genetically predisposed to asthma as their paternal grandmother was severely
asthmatic all her life, as were two of her three surviving sisters (a fourth died of asthma as a child, in the days when
treatments were not so effective.) It took a long time to get the drugs balance right for my son but they got there in the
end and they both now manage to lead a relatively normal life (they have to take their medications with them wherever they
go, but it's a small price to pay) and I have had to learn to "stand back" as they have got older and let them learn to
cope with their condition themselves, as far as they can (although I still worry, of course!) My very best wishes go to
you and your family and I hope you can get bac k to a relatively norm

| I am so sorry you have been having a rough time with your asthma. I have a cousin that has
had it all of her life basically and her husband now has it, as well. I don't have it, but I know what living with a
chronic illness is like. I suffer from chronic debilitating spine pain and have a website up for those suffering in
